Tips For Cleaning the Whole House

When it comes to cleaning the house, the task might seem too big to tackle if you don’t have a good plan for how to approach each room. As long as you have the right tools, such as a broom, mop, disinfectant, and janitorial cleaning rags, you’ll be in the clear to shape up every nook and cranny in your home! There are plenty of ways to make little things look brighter and cleaner with less work than you think. Even if you don’t have the energy to tackle the entire, working on these few tiny tasks will help you feel better about the cleanliness of your house.

One of the rooms in most need of regular attention is the bathroom. The best place to start here is the toilet. If you have grimy buildup or hard water stains inside your toilet bowl, consider using a cleaner with some bleach in it to knock out those stains. Once you pour it in, let it sit for a little while before you start scrubbing. This will allow the chemicals to loosen the dirt so you can easily brush and flush them away. Another area to keep an eye on is the sink. Toothpaste, hand soap, hair, and makeup can all contribute to caky buildup in the basin and on the vanity. For the countertop, you can use your favorite disinfectant spray to wipe away the mess, and in the basin, you can use the same principle as the toilet. Don’t forget to wipe down the faucet and handles to remove any germs lingering there as well.

One thing you might forget about is the dishwasher. Yes, the thing that cleans needs cleaning too. You can pull out the bottom rack to wipe away any large food items or stains, and then run the dishwasher without any dishes in it to give it a good clean. Some people choose to use a stronger detergent for this as well. If you have an entire collection of cloudy glasses, you can easily bring them back to their original pristine state. All you need to do is soak them in distilled white vinegar for about five minutes, then rinse them off. They’ll look like new!

These are just a couple of tips for cleaning up around your house and getting a head start on the little tasks in every room. Try adding them into your weekly routine!
