Exterior
The new model will get a revised front grille, new tinted headlamps along with a slightly squeezed bumper and wider air dams. The front grille as well as the fog lamp cases receives a rich chrome treatment which goes a long way in making it look completely different from the existing model. The side profile remains unchanged except for a new set of 10 spoke alloy wheels. And sadly enough, the car still looks abruptly cut off when seen from the sides. The rear looks classy with re-designed tail lights and chrome finished boot lid. Swift Dzire is now also available in a Metallic Golden Green colour in addition to the existing shades.
Interior
The overall interior design is expected to be the same baring a few sparkles here and there. The seats are redesigned for better comfort and they get a new set of fabric. In addition, this mid-life face lifted model will be more feature rich. A cruise control, start stop button, keyless entry with engine starter button, auto-up function for the driver’s side power window, climate control and an integrated audio system and a leather wrapped steering wheel mounted with audio controls are some of the interesting new features. Safety features include ABS, brake assist, front dual SRS airbags, an engine drag control system and EBD.

Like its elder sibling, the new Dzire will also be available in a 1.2 litre K series 1198 cc petrol engine with VVT and a 1.3 litre DDiS 1248 cc diesel engine with a combination of a turbocharger and intercooler. The suspension set up has been improved from the previous Dzire and one can enjoy a smoother ride over uneven roads as well because of it. One can expect a 10 % rise in fuel efficiency as the company has tuned the engines to perform better.
