Many times we rely on our memory and it plays tricks on us. In an era in which we all have in head dozens of keys and passwords, sometimes we remember some good and not true. If your mobile has asked you your PIN and you, convinced that you know, what you’ve entered wrong three times, the SIM is blocked and the Phone will ask another code, the PUK. Instructions
There are several ways to retrieve the PUK code. The easiest is to find the card that came the SIM card in it always come PIN and PUK.
If you lost your SIM card where it came from, the only way to get your PUK is contact your mobile operator. You can usually do so from their site, entering customer area with your username and password and looking for some place to put “unlock SIM”.
The other option is to call your operator. Normally you will be asked a series of data to ensure that you who called (and one a thief who wants to use your phone), such as name, ID and maybe some data in your contract.
When you’ve got the PUK code, you just have to insert it into your mobile phone and accept. Your SIM card will be yours!
